Warrego Water Services in Toowoomba are gearing up for this year’s FarmFest with a range of new gear from Aussie Pumps. They are planning a big display of the latest technology and product offerings to help farmers take advantage of the government’s 100% tax depreciation allowance.
“We’re excited to show off the new Aussie range of pumps and pressure cleaners that give farmers the quality they can rely on,” said Warrego Water’s Geoff Cole. “This includes big ‘Drought Buster’ pumps to manage water resources efficiently and the new stainless steel blasters that are exceptional value”, he said.
DROUGHT BUSTERS
In addition to the usual Aussie Fire Chief firefighting pumps, Warrego will also feature big 4” & 6” self-priming pumps. These pumps draw water from creeks, streams or shallow wells and are ideal for high volume transfer or flood irrigation applications. The 6” QP602 moves a whopping 2,900 lpm.
“This Aussie 6 inch pump is a breakthrough in terms of quality, value and performance,” said Cole. “The great fuel efficiencies, high volume transfer and heavy duty construction make it a real drought buster,” he said.
SMART PUMPS FOR CHEMICAL TRANSFER
2” and 3” Honda chemical transfer pumps are winners for farmers who use nitrogen based fertilisers. Called “Aussie Smart Pumps”, these units are made from 30% glass filled polyester. They are suitable for virtually all aggressive agricultural chemicals. The 3” pump will push 30% more than its 2” version. That is over 1,000L/min and it will draft liquids from depths of 6 metres.
AUSSIE’S STAINLESS STEEL REVOLUTION

The enormously popular “Aussie Pocket Rocket” 3,000 psi pressure cleaner powered by a Honda 6.5HP engine now features an ergonomic stainless steel frame. The unit delivers a huge amount of cleaning performance considering its size and price.
The heart of the pump is a 3,000 psi Big Berty Bertolini heavy duty triplex pump. The machine is loaded with standard features including Aussie’s ASP (Aussie Safety Protection) kit. It comes with a Vario Lance that enables the operator to vary the angle of jet with the twist of the wrist. The “bayonet” action on the nozzle adjusts the water jet from high pressure to low pressure.
Aussie’s larger 4,000 psi high pressure water blasters and steam cleaners will also feature on the stand this year.
