Recently released by Australian Pump Industries, the 4” pump Flood Master (QP40T/GX390) uses a Honda 13 hp engine as it’s prime power source. With flows to 1800 litres per minute it has a maximum head of 24 metres.
Like all Aussie trash pumps, the QP40T is designed to handle a high percentage of solids in suspension. It’s big, open, “non-clog” style impeller, is made from high SG grade cast iron. An exclusive bronze-copper mechanical seal is equipped as standard to give exceptional abrasion resistance. The bronze-copper mechanical seal can outlast conventional seals by up to six times.
The big 4” pump features an advanced double volute for fast priming, efficiency and self cleaning. It is fitted with a front clean-out port that enables the operator to clean debris from within the pump in a matter of minutes. The big door can be opened without disconnecting suction or delivery pipe work in a matter of seconds.
The Honda drive Aussie pump comes in a heavy duty galvanised roll frame with anti vibration mounts supplied as standard equipment. The pump features excellent efficiencies with a maximum head of 24m. It will self prime from 7.6m.
