AgQuip 2011

NFS’s Michael and Leo Casey showing off the new Aussie Scud to farmers at AgQuip 2011.

Aussie AgQuip Success

The Aussie Pumps’ team has reported a huge success at AgQuip 2011! Strongly supported by the Gunnedah based, family owned Namoi Farm Spray (NFS) the new Aussie Scud, Aussie “Smart Pump”, and the Aussie Fire Chief took centre stage.

Debuting at AgQuip, the Scud blaster was a real talking point. “The Scud blew everyone away from farmers to contractors and council workers,” said NFS’ Michael Casey. “Not only does it perform, but people just love the look and feel of the machine,” he said.

The revolutionary Aussie is ergonomically designed for maximum protection and mobility. At the heart of the pressure cleaner is a 4000psi, 15 litre per minute “Big Berty” Bertolini triplex pump powered by a genuine Honda engine. Both the engine and the pump are backed by a 3 year warranty.

This innovative pressure cleaner is part of a new range of machines designed to provide more cost effective cleaning solutions, with minimal environmental impact. The Aussie Scud has been developed to save water, time and money to provide a top quality machine for farmers and contractors.

“Farmers also love the new Aussie Smart Pump for pumping ag fert” said Casey. The use of liquid fertilizer for broadacre farming has revolutionised production resulting in major improvements in crop quality and quantity. The Aussie Smart Pump, a 30% glass filled polyester pump has helped to change the way chemicals are used in modern day farming.

“The ability of the Aussie Smart Pump to handle corrosive liquid, liquid fertiliser and other ag chem with ease makes it perfect for farm use” says Casey. “They were very popular with broadacre farmers at the show, particularly those committed to liquid fertilizer” he said.

The Aussie 2” and 3” Poly pumps have a 6.5HP Honda engine and are backed by an unbeatable Aussie 5 year warranty. NFS understands the need for reliable and robust pumps that are able to handle liquid fertiliser to improve crop yields and quality.

The Aussie Fire Chief was a huge drawcard at AgQuip this year. The chief is acknowledged as the world’s best, lightweight, portable fire pump. It boasts a 450 lpm maximum flow and offers delivery heads in the standard single impeller version of up to 75 metres.  That’s over 100 psi!

With a unique 5 year pump end warranty, the product is built without design or engineering compromise.  “Its big belly body and huge impeller allows more water through the pump, providing excellent flow/pressure combination” says Casey.

NFS, who are proud Aussie Pumps Gold Distributors, were supported at AgQuip 2011 by Aussie Pumps’ Dean Fountain. Dean was at the show to lend a hand and explain the great advantages and cost savings to farmers from this year’s new releases. “We got a huge amount of feedback from AgQuip” said Fountain. “It’s not only comments and suggestions on new products but stimulating ideas that result in real creative product development and enhancement” he said.
