Cleaning Equipment: Big Blaster is Lean & Mean
The Aussie Ultra high pressure water blaster, sometimes called the “lethal weapon” is claimed by Australian Pump Industries to be both fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. It’s big 4,000 psi pump pressure means less water is required to carry out any cleaning task, saving time, water and fuel.
The big machine uses a “Big Berty” Bertolini high pressure KTV series piston pump that develops 4,000 psi pump pressure and boasts a turbo pressure of 6,400 psi.
Powered by a 20HP Honda twin cylinder electric start petrol engine, the machine is fully enclosed in a wraparound galvanised roll frame trolley that both protects and provides easy manoeuvrability. The trolley is fitted with big 13″steel wheels with pneumatic tyres.
“We designed the Ultra to perform tough contractor style cleaning chores like graffiti removal,
concrete finishing or brick cleaning,” said Aussie Pump’s Tony Kelly. “Using that extra pressure cuts cleaning times, sometimes by more than half, leading to major savings in cost and reductions in environmental degradation,” he said.
The big Aussie Ultra comes with a ‘hi-low’ stainless steel double lance, heavy duty 5,000 psi rated professional gun and 10 metres of double wire braid Aussie high pressure hose with quick screw coupling to pump. The ‘hi-low’ double lance enables the operator to move from low pressure detergent application to high pressure by the twist of the wrist.
A wide range of accessories including a Turbo Master turbo lance, grit blaster attachment, flat surface cleaners like the Aussie Whirl-a-way, and high pressure hose reels are also available.
“We built in ASP (Aussie Safety Protection) to protect the operator and the machine from pressure spikes, a first in Australian designed and built high pressure water blasters,”said Kelly.
