When it comes to farm clean up, using a 4,000 psi engine drive pressure cleaner can dramatically cut water usage and provide a better quality job at the same time. Conventional small electric drive units don’t offer the flow or the pressure required and extend cleaning times.
Aussie Pumps has released the latest version of the popular Scud series, called the AB40 Scud. Aimed at the farming community, this 4,000 psi pressure cleaner is the latest member of a new premium range of machines and accessories designed to provide cost effective cleaning solutions, with minimal environmental impact.
To cut water usage even further on difficult jobs, the machine can be teamed with an Aussie Turbo lance that boosts effective working pressure to 6,000 psi without using any extra water. That cuts cleaning time resulting in even more water savings.
“With the AB40 Scud we’ve designed a great value machine that farmers can rely on to work well every time” said Aussie Pumps’ Product Manager Peter Evans. “Combining a 4,000 psi top quality Bertolini triplex pump and genuine Honda engine means that cleaning times and water usage are slashed” he said.
The heart of the Aussie built machine is a “Big Berty” Bertolini triplex piston pump backed by a three year manufacturer’s warranty. Aussie has powered this with the popular Honda GX series industrial petrol engine, also backed with a three year International Honda warranty and large dealer network.
“Once you get a pressure cleaner you find a huge range of cleaning applications around the farm,” said Evans. “You end up using it more than you anticipated, so you want to make sure that your blaster will go the course,” he said.
The Aussie Scud is a registered design developed by Aussie Pump at their Sydney development centre. The design brief included easy hose reel mounting to accommodate extra length hoses for added user convenience and safety. A perfectly balanced frame and big 13” pneumatic wheels mean that the AB40 Scud is easy to move over uneven terrain.
All Aussie machines are supplied with professional accessories that include a gun, 10 metres of hose, stainless steel double lance and integrated detergent injection.
Other accessories that will boost performance, save time, fuel and water usage include horizontal and vertical rotary sand cleaners, sand blast kits and specially designed rotating high pressure brush assemblies.
