The buoyant mood of visitors was reflected in record sales of Aussie Pumps product at this year’s AgQuip field day. The company’s products were featured at a number of stands where they attached huge interest from farmers and rural contractors.

Sprayer Barn and NFS Agribusiness both flew the Aussie Pump flag with a large range of pumps and pressure cleaners. Kubota tractors displayed the popular big Kubota diesel powered Aussie pumps, while Yanmar dealer Blooms showed off the Yanmar powered fire pump.

“We saw a bounce in farmer confidence exhibited at the field day.” said Bernard Jones from Aussie Pumps. “Everybody’s smiling with the current market price for livestock and grains looking particularly good and productivity levels predicted to soar,” he said.

Aussie supported their authorised distributors with key Aussie Pump personnel from the distributor support team. The Aussie Fire Chief pumps were a big hit again this year.

“Farmers who have used Aussie Pump products before were keen to invest in the brand again, while others had heard about them by word of mouth,” said Jones.

The new Fire Captain, the big brother to the Fire Chief, with the red full frame and larger engine generated plenty of interest and recorded excellent sales.

3,000 psi pressure cleaner sales were also strong, with two models ‘walking off the stand’! The AB30 and Cougar are Honda powered pressure cleaners designed for fast clean-up chores around the farm.

The new 3,000 psi AB30 ‘pocket rocket’ blaster was introduced this year as a result of rural market feedback. The results showed that farmers wanted a reasonably price pressure cleaner that would deliver great cleaning results, but that would survive the rigors of farm life.

“The new Aussie AB30 was a real winner this year. Everyone appreciates that these Australian designed and built machines will outlast not only imports but home-grown competitors as well,” said Jones. “Users love the compact galvanised steel frames, the rugged construction and the fact we insist on using quality Honda engines and Bertolini triplex pumps,” he said.

The big Aussie Kubota diesel engine powered fire pumps and transfer pumps were also featured on the Kubota stand. Kubota brand aficionados love the look of these sturdy Australian built pumps. They are capable of transferring water long distances or putting out fires promptly, efficiently and with maximum operator safety.

“We take the best products the world has to offer and assemble them here is Australia to meet the needs of Australian consumers. These are top quality products and but at prices that don’t break the bank,” said Jones.
