Aussie Pumps is proud to be partnering with Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland in their Class B Jetter training course. MPAQ is far ahead of the pack. Aussie Pumps is not aware of any other professional associations offering this intensive training to plumbers.

Tracy Bob, Training Services Manager at MPAQ, contacted Aussie Pumps to enquire about purchasing a Jetter. Their WH&S Committee were keen to set up a training program for operators of Class B Jetters, in line with the Australian Safety Standards for Operators.

Aussie Pumps was eager to participate. Safety is Aussie’s No 1 concern and they understand how important it is that plumbers operate powerful Jetters without risk of injury.

“Aussie’s team strives to improve Jetter safety awareness and our message to every plumber is ‘Get home safe.’ ” said Aussie Pumps Chief Engineer John Hales.

MPAQ decided on purchasing an Aussie King Cobra B Mk 3 Deluxe, Class B Jetter. It features a stainless steel trolley with the new stainless steel reel and 60 metres of sewer hose. A stainless steel portable mini reel, hose restraint, gun kit, safety eye wear and gloves were all included together with a range of nozzles to tackle any choke situation.

“We are very pleased and excited with the response we are getting from the eastern coast regions to do the Jetter course,” said MPAQ’s Tracy. “Our focus is on the safety for the operator, general public and the properties and environment.”

The first sessions are already fully booked, with more planned.

Aussie Pumps is keen to be involved with other professional associations and registered training organisations that need Jetters.
